DHAKA: The second Namaz-e-Janaza of veteran journalist ABM Musa was held at the National Press Club premises of the city after Johr prayer on Thursday.

He is being taken to Kutubpur village of Fulgazi upazila of Feni for burial then.

Earlier, Musa’s body was taken to Press Club premises by a dead body carrying van of Japan-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital at 12:00pm.

Family sources said the third and the last Janaza of Musa will be held at Mizan Maydan of Feni district, his village-home Kutubpur respectively.

Journalist Musa, 83, breathed his last at Labaid Hospital in city around 1:45pm on Wednesday.

He had been kept on life-support from Monday night and had been suffering from severe blood-cell related disease Myelo-dysplastic syndrome.

Musa left behind his wife Setara Musa, a son – Dr Nasim Musa, three daughters – Sharmin Musa, Marian Sultana, and Pervin Sultana Jhuma and a host of relatives, friends and well wishers to mourn his death.
