GAIBANDHA: The US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena on Wednesday said the country would turn into a middle income country soon.

The US diplomat came up with the assertion in a view exchange meeting with locals at Circuit House of the district in the noon.

Mozena also observed good governance, quality education and sound health of the people also w9uld ensure the country to become as a middle income one.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ehasan Elahi and Police Super Mofazzal Hossain and other high ups of administration were among others present at the meeting.

Norwegian Ambassador to Bangladesh Merete Lundemo, Netherlands Ambassador Gerben de Jong, World Food Programme`s Assistant Executive Director Elisabeth Rasmusson and country director of World Food Programme to Bangladesh also took part in the programme.
