DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Wednesday denied bail to managing director of Hall-Mark Group Tanvir Mahmud in 11 cases of much-talked-about Sonali Bank loan scam.

Judge of Dhaka Senior Special Judges Court Johurul Haque passed the order after hearing.

A source in the court confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On October 7 in 2013, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed charge sheet against 25 people of Hall-Mark and Sonali Bank in the loan scam cases.
