DHAKA: A Dhaka Court on Tuesday indicted four people including Oishee Rahman in the case of sensational murder of Special Branch (SB) Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Shapna Rahman.

Detective Branch (DB) of police completed investigation and filed two charge sheets before the court.

Two charge sheets were filed to Magistrate Maruf Hasan at the Courts of Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court on Tuesday.

Oishee’s lawyer Prakash Ranjan Biswash confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Prakash Ranjan said that the case is forwarded to Metropolitan Magistrate Court where Metropolitan Magistrate received a charge sheet against Oishee and two others for further judgment and another charge sheet against domestic help Sumi was forwarded to Juvenile Court for being underage.

Earlier on August 14, last year, SB inspector Mahfuzur and his wife Shapna were stabbed to death at their rented flat in Chamelibagh, Malibagh.

Police recovered their bodies on August 16. Their daughter Oishee, 19, with housemaid Sumi, 15, surrendered at Paltan police station on August 17.

Later, Oishee gave a statement under interrogation claiming that she had killed her parents with the help of housemaid Sumi. Investigators also found the involvement of her two friends Roni and Joni in the murder case and they were arrested later.

However, finally two charge sheets were filed at the court to rectify the case and solve it with the trial after a lot of dramatic dimensions of the murder case.
