MUNSHIGANJ: District Superintendent of Police Habibur Rahman was withdrawn on Thursday to Headquarters for his negligence in performing duties during recent upazila polls and failure to control of law and order in the district.

The withdrawal order came by a letter from the police   headquarters on Wednesday.                                  

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of the district sent a report to cabinet bringing 22 allegations against Habibur Rahman.   

Additional Superintendent of Police Jakir Hossain Majumder confirmed the matter to banglanews.
