NOAKHALI: Two minors drowned at Karimpur village under Begumganj upazila of the district on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Mitua, 3, daughter of Nazmul Hassan Milon, and Maria, 3, daughter of M Sohel of the village.
Nazmul Hasan told banglanews that Mitua and Maria fell in the water while playing with other children beside pond near to their home.
Later, locals and families member found their floating bodies on the pond.
