DHAKA: Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah adjourned the parliament till 5:00pm Monday.

Earlier in the day, the sitting of the parliament resumed at 5:17pm with Speaker Dr Shirin Chaudury in the chair.

The day’s proceedings began with recitation from the Holy Quran.

On the day, 48 women members of parliament joined in the parliament.
