The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by lightning and temporary gusty winds across various parts of the country over the next 24 hours from 9:00 am today (June 28).
According to the BMD bulletin issued this morning, most areas in Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions are likely to experience rainfall, while many parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions may also see showers.
"Moderately heavy to heavy falls are likely at places over Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions," the bulletin added.
Day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The highest temperature recorded on Friday was 35.5°C in Dimla, Rangpur division, while the lowest was 24.1°C in Bandarban, Chattogram division.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:50 pm today and rise at 5:14 am on Sunday.
