As part of the ongoing nationwide crackdown to maintain law and order, law enforcement agencies have arrested 1,452 suspected criminals in the last 24 hours.
According to a statement from the Police Headquarters, 1,053 of the detainees were apprehended in connection with previous cases and outstanding warrants.
The remaining 399 were arrested on various criminal charges.
During the operation, police also recovered two pistols, one magazine, a bullet, and a Burmese knife.
