A total of 12,877 Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have returned home from Saudi Arabia as of Thursday (June 12) following the completion of this year's Hajj, held on June 5.

Of them, 1,255 traveled under government management and 11,622 under private arrangements. So far, 26 pilgrims—23 men and 3 women—have died, mostly in Makkah and Madinah.

A total of 33 return flights have been operated, with Biman, Saudia, and Flynas transporting thousands of pilgrims.

Healthcare and IT services assisted thousands, while 19 Bangladeshis are still under treatment in Saudi hospitals. The return phase will continue until July 10.
