DHAKA: Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested five accused in Swechchhasebak League leader Monim Foyez killing case on Thursday.
They were nabbed in an overnight police operation at different places of the city.
Confirming the matter to banglanews, DMP additional commissioner Saydur Rahman said, “Details will be disclosed at a press briefing in the DMP media center at the city’s Minto Road around 12:00 noon.”
Sheikh Munim Foyez, 40, convener of Kalabagan thana unit Swechchhasebak League in the capital, was found dead on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway from near Barsha Cinema Hall at Bhogra of Gazipur district on April 4.
