DHAKA: The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has appointed an investigative officer to investigate corruption of Jatiya Party (JP) former Secretary General Ruhul Amin Hawladar.      

In a regular meeting on Wednesday, the anti graft body appointed ACC assistant director Hamidul Hasan as the investigator.  

ACC deputy director (public relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to banglanews.  

He said ACC appoints the investigator as Ruhul Amin Hawladar had concealed his actual wealth information in the submitted statement to the election commission.   

Earlier on April 9, ACC had decided to investigate corruption against the JP senior leader.
