DHAKA: A youth was killed by his father at Bagichartek area of capital’s Rampura on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Alam, 21, son of Dulal.

Family sources said that father Dulal beat Alam indiscriminately with an iron rod following a family dispute, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to emergency of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

Rampura Thana Officer-in-Charge Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
