DHAKA: The airport authorities detained seven Rohingyas including three women from Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport early Wednesday.

The detainees are- Khorshed Alam, Shah Alam, Mohiuddin, Aziz, Amena Begum, Jahura Begum and Rehena Begum.

Confirming the matter, Shah Amanat Airport Manager Wing Commander Nur-e-Alam told banglanews that these people were trying to go Jeddah on a flight of Bangladesh Biman concealing identification.

The detainees were handed over to Patenga Thana, he added.
