The Bangladesh Embassy in Libya has issued an emergency warning for Bangladeshi nationals in the country, urging them to remain indoors amid escalating tensions in Tripoli.
The advisory, issued on Tuesday (April 13), follows reports of armed convoys entering the Libyan capital and a deteriorating security situation.
The Libyan Ministry of Home Affairs has instructed residents to stay within their homes and avoid unnecessary movement due to rising instability.
In response, the Bangladesh Embassy has called on its citizens to exercise extreme caution and stay in their residences until the situation improves.
Officials have urged all Bangladeshis in Tripoli to prioritize their safety and adhere to local authorities' directives.
The embassy said it is closely monitoring the developments and will provide further updates as needed.
