MYMENSINGH: Two suspected robbers were lynched by an angry mob in Shantiganj Bazar area under Bhaluka upazila of the district on early Friday.

The deceased were identified as Saiful Islam, 45 and Rafiqul Islam, 35.                

Local sources said a gang of robbers were trying to flee scene after committing robbery by a truck in the area.  

Seeing, local caught them red handed and beat them brutally, leaving Saiful dead on the spot.  

Another robber was remained hide under a bridge but finding him, mob also beat him up good at around 9:00am, leaving him dead on the spot.  

Bhaluka Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the matter to banglanews.
