NOAKHALI: An activist of BNP was killed in a clash between the activists of Awami League and BNP over establishing supremacy at Nandiapara polling center under Deoti union of Sonaimuri upazila in the district on Thursday noon.
The deceased was identified as Saddam Hossain, 22 and resident of the area.
Local sources said that the activists of BNP and AL locked into a clash in the area around 1:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge of Sonaimuri Police Station Abdus Samad confirmed the matter to banglanews.
