MEHERPUR: At least five people were injured as miscreants blasted six cocktails in Keshobpur government primary school vote center under Gangni Upazila of the district on Thursday morning.

The injured were sent to Gangni Upazila Health Complex.

19-party alliance supported chainman candidate Murad Ali and locals blamed local Awami League activists for the attack.

On the other hand, miscreants beat up an on-duty Ansar member at Shibpur Government Primary School under Mujibnagar upazila.
