DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Secretary M Faizur Rahman on Monday said the investigation against current and former ministers, lawmakers and secretaries is not eyewash.

The anti-graft body came up with the assertion in a monthly briefing at ACC secretariat office at Segunbagichha in the capital on Monday.    

ACC secretary said, “We are looking into the matters on the basis of allegations. The results of the investigation will come out in time. ACC does not work for eyewash. It investigates neutrally.”  

In response to a query over laundered-money, Faizur Rahman said, “The ACC is sincerely trying to bring back the all money.”
