DHAKA: A cleaner died from electrocution in Nurerchala area under Vatara Thana of the city on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Moslem Mia, 30.

Family sources said that the victim came in contact with a live electric wire while he was working in the area around 9:30am, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declared him dead around 10:30am.
