DHAKA: Islam Karimov, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her re-election as the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Director (Media) of External Publicity Wing of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nripendra Chandra Debnath confirmed the matter.

In a message, the Uzbek President also added that traditional friendship and bonds between the two friendly countries will continue to strengthen for the benefit of the two countries.
