Teachers and students of different madrasahs in Mirpur of the capital have expressed their satisfaction with iftar provided by Bashundhara Group.

At initiative of Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, the industrial conglomerate has doled out quality foods to the madrasahs and orphanages, including Siratul Karim Shamsul Alam Madrasah and Darul Ihsan Hifzul Quran Madrasa.

Maulana Ekhlasur Rahman, principal of the madrasah, said that teachers and students have been taking part in the iftar programme since the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

“The iftar have touched the hearts of people in different parts of the country.  The orphan students have greatly benefited,” he said.

The teacher also expressed gratitude to the Bashundhara Group Managing Director for distributing foods among students on his birthday.

He hoped that Bashundhara Group would become more prosperous and play a crucial role in the welfare of the country.
