Three teenagers were killed in a motorcycle accident in the capital's Dakshin Khan Ashiyan City area on Friday (Feb 23) night.

The deceased were Rabiul Islam, Md Junayed and Omar Farruq, aged about 15-16. 

Dakshinkhan Police Station OC Siddiqur Rahman confirmed the matter.

He said the three friends fell onto the ground after the motorbike rider lost control in Ashiyan City area at about 7:45pm, leaving Rabiul died on the spot, and two others seriously injured. 

Junayed and Farruq were admitted to Kurmitole General Hospital where Junayed died.

Farruq, who was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for better treatment, also succumbed to his injuries, the OC added.
