The audition for the Rajshahi division contestants in the second season of “Quraner Noor,” a Quran recitation competition, started in Rajshahi city today (December 5).

The registration process for participants has begun at 9:00am and will go on until its completion at Rajshahi Darul Ulum Madrasa of Malo Para in Rajshahi.

Students of Rajshahi division are being registered at four booths for the competition. Then the audition phase started at 10:30 am. At that time, the National A-Hifzul Quran Competition became the largest gathering of students under 15 years of age.

12-year-old Hafiz Abdullah Al Fahim and Sadman Hafiz Sadiq of Tanzimul Ummah Hifz Madrasa of Rajpara police station in Rajshahi said that their teachers have been working day and night for this international Quran competition. They are specially made for this competition.

Today they appeared here early in the morning. They will try their best in the audition phase, so that the dreams of their institutions and teachers come true.

Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Musalli Committee is organising the mega reality show – Quraner Noor International Hifzul Quran Competition-2024, powered by Bashundhara Group, the country’s leading business conglomerate.

Coordinator of the competition Hafiz Md Iqbal Hossain Habibi earlier said nearly 350 hafizes, aged below 16, will take part in the competition.

A total of 10 judges, including five from Dhaka, will select the best winners of the contest.
