DHAKA: Cricketer all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan met opposition BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia at Gulshan residence on Wednesday night.

Shakib along with his wife Umme Ahmed Shishir went to Khaleda’s home at around 09:40pm to invite her on the occasion of their post-wedding reception of the world no.1 all-rounder.

The reception will be held at 7:00am on December 15 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital.

Earlier, Shakib met the President and Prime Minister to invite in the post-wedding party.
