Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the result of the 45th BCS preliminary examination. 

A total of 12,789 people passed the examination.

The result was published on the PSC website on Tuesday (June 6). 

The written exam will be held in the month of October, a PSC notification confirmed.

The preliminary examination was held on May 19. Accordingly, the PSC gave the preliminary result within 17 days after the examination. Candidates can check the result on PSC website.

Around 77 percent of candidates appeared in the 45th BCS preliminary examination held on Friday (May 19).

The preliminary examination was held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions.

A total of 2,309 cadres will be recruited through the 45th BCS. 1 thousand 22 people will be taken in non-cadre services.
