A school student was killed after being crushed by a trolley in Lahini Madhyapara of Kushtia on Friday morning (Dec 9).

The deceased was identified as Naeem Sheikh, 10, son of Sobahan Hossain and student of standard V.

The accident happened in Lahini Madhyapara of the district town.

Kushtia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Delwar Hossain Khan confirmed the matter.

He said Naeem was moving towards his house by cycling this morning. On the way, he was crushed by a trolley.

The police recovered the child's body from the spot and sent to morgue for post-mortem, he said, adding police seized the vehicle.
