Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky for the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (Dec 9).

According to the BMD bulletin, light fog may occur at places over the country during early morning. 

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release added.

Meanwhile, the "Cyclonic Storm MANDOUS" over Southwest Bay and adjoining area moved west-northwestwards, intensified into a severe Cyclonic storm over the same area (Near Lat. 11.0oN and Long 81.5o E) at 06 am today (09 December 2022).

It is likely to move in a west-northwesterly direction further. Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area.

Country's maximum temperature was recorded by 32.5 degree Celsius at Cox's Bazar and today's minimum temperature 12.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Rajarhat.

The sun sets at 05.12 pm today and rises at 06.31 am tomorrow in the capital.
