Dhaka District North DB Police arrested three drug peddlers along with Cholaimad and hemp in separate drives in Ashulia of Savar.

DB Police disclosed two separate matters through a press release on Wednesday (Nov 23) morning.

The arrestees were identified as Md. Hubaira Khokon, 30, son of Usman Autarnik of Hadal village of Faridpur, Suman Chakma, 21, son of Sujan Chakma of Bilchhara village of Rangamati district, and Md Harij Mia, 50, son of Abdul Khalek of Ashulia.

Dhaka North DB Officer-in-Charge Md. Riaz Uddin Ahmed (Biplab) confirmed the matter.

He said acting on a tip-off, two officers nabbed them along with drugs in separate raids. 

A case has been lodged with the Ashulia police station against them. They will be sent to court today, he added.
