Judicial magistrate KM Hafizur Rahman passed away on Monday (Nov 21) at the age of 33.

He breathed his last at his Gaibandha home after suffering from a prolonged illness. 

According to an official press release, Hafizur was battling with a brain tumor for a long.

Born on December 31, 1989, at village Ramnagar under Saghata upazilla in Gaibandha, Hafizur joined Bangladesh Judicial Service through 10th BJS exam on March 1, 2018.

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq expressed profound shock at the death of Hafizur.

In a message of condolence, the law minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar also mourned his death.
