Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has vowed to punish what he called “the Zionist enemy” following the United States’ participation in Israeli military attacks on Iranian territory.

In his first remarks since the US joined the offensive, Khamenei said Tehran would respond decisively. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump suggested the possibility of a regime change in Iran, stating, “If the current Iranian regime is unable to make Iran great again, why wouldn’t there be a regime change?”

Tensions continue to escalate as Israel and Iran exchange strikes. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the US must “receive a response to their aggression,” as international concern mounts over a wider regional conflict.

The UN’s nuclear watchdog reported no abnormal off-site radiation levels following US strikes on Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities.

According to Iranian authorities, more than 400 people have been killed and at least 3,056 wounded since Israel began its assault on June 13. In Israel, at least 24 people have been killed in Iranian retaliatory strikes.
