The sacred plains of Arafat reverberated with the powerful chants of "Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik" as millions of Muslim pilgrims gathered for the most significant day of Hajj 2025.
From the early hours of the morning, the vast desert landscape transformed into a sea of white, as pilgrims dressed in Ihram stood in solemn devotion, seeking forgiveness, mercy, and spiritual renewal.
The Day of Arafat, observed on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, marks the pinnacle of the annual pilgrimage, where worshippers engage in deep prayer and reflection.
The Talbiyah, a sacred chant proclaiming the oneness of Allah, echoed across Arafat as pilgrims raised their hands in supplication.
The atmosphere was filled with humility and reverence, as worshippers recited prayers, seeking absolution for past sins.
At Masjid al-Namirah, the traditional Hajj sermon was delivered by Dr. Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid, a senior scholar from Masjid al-Haram, reminding pilgrims of the importance of faith, unity, and devotion.
As the sun set over Arafat, pilgrims began their journey to Muzdalifah, where they would spend the night under the open sky, collecting pebbles for the symbolic stoning of the devil at Jamarat in Mina.
The next phase of the pilgrimage includes animal sacrifice, head shaving, and Tawaf al-Ziyarah, culminating in the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
With over 2.5 million pilgrims participating this year, including 87,000 from Bangladesh, the Hajj continues to be one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, symbolizing faith, unity, and submission to Allah.
