Bangladesh sees 24 deaths, 1,545 corona cases in 24-hr

Bangladesh today confirmed 24 more deaths from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 5,723.
 
According to the Health authorities, 1,545 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 3,93,131.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has made the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

As 1,704 patients have recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recoveries reached 3,08,845, it also said.

A total of 22,06,411 samples have been tested so far as 14,086 samples tested in 110 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country in last 24 hours, the release added.

Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
