The authorities of Dhaka University (DU) have decided to hold the examinations of its final year and master’s students from December 26 to avoid session jam.
The university also decided to cut short the duration of examinations for this year. However, all the health protocols and social distancing will be maintained at exam halls amid coronavirus pandemic.
The decision was made during the university’s academic council meeting presided by Vice-Chancellor Professor Akhtaruzzaman on Thursday, said a press release.
The university will not be able to ensure residential facilities for the students. The departments were asked to prepare the final examination routine and conduct other practical and oral examinations after communicating with their students., said the release.
