DHAKA: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has published a circular for the appointment of Assistant Upazila or Thana Education Officer (ATEO) of the Directorate of Primary Education under Primary and Mass Education ministry.

According to the release published on the PSC website on Wednesday, a total of 144 people will be recruited for the posts.

However, 50 percent of the posts will be reserved for the departmental candidates (primary school teachers). If departmental candidates can not fill the quota, then general candidates will be recruited for posts, the release added.

Application can be submitted with fees through online from July 1 to 28. Detailed information will be available on the PSC website (www.bpsc.gov.bd).
