Technical Edu Board gets new chairman

DHAKA: Government has appointed Dhaka Polytechnic Institute principal Dr M Mostafizur Rahman as Bangladesh Technical Education Board chairman.

In an order, the Education Ministry appointed Dr Mostafizur in the vacant post of chairman on Tuesday.

Bangladesh Technical Education Board secretary Abdul Haque Talukdar has also served as acting chairman of the board.

Earlier, the Prime Minister Office (PMO) ordered to investigate the alleged corruption against Abdul Haque Talukdar while serving as acting chairman.
