In a captivating workshop that took place on Saturday, the 12th of August, 2023, at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh’s Cafeteria, organized by Syeda Sadia Mehjabin, Senior Lecturer of Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) Department and the course students of “English for Media” of Summer ’23, the illustrious musician and podcaster Jon Kabir enlightened attendees with his profound insights into the realm of podcasting.

The event was steered with an interactive Q&A session, allowing approximately 50 participants to engage directly with Kabir and gain further insights into podcasting and Jon Kabir captivated the audience with his thought-provoking responses, unveiling the essence of podcasting as an authentic platform for personal expression.

Kabir's perceptions of the distinction between podcasts and TV interviews resonated strongly, as he expressed, "TV interviews are mostly scripted and lack the space for open conversations and genuine interactions. Podcasts pick up where interviews end!”. The program concluded with a group photography session and closing remarks by the organizers.
