No more JSC-JDC exams

The government has decided not to hold the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and its equivalent examination from this academic year.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave her nod in this regard. 

As a result, there will be no JSC, JDC like examinations in the country from this year.

The Ministry of Education passed this directive on Monday (Jan 16).

Earlier Ministry of Education, on December 29, sent a proposal to the Prime regarding this.
