Dollar devalued against Taka in kerb market

The dollar price fell slightly in the kerb market against Taka by three to four compared to the previous day.

As per today's rate, one dollar was sold between Tk 107.50 and Tk 108.80.

This information was reported from the money changers and open market in Dhaka on Wednesday (July 27).

Officials of money changer companies today said that the dollar was being sold at the rate of Tk 107.50 to Tk 108.80. Yesterday it was sold at Tk 112 from Tk 111.

The owner Zaman Money Exchange Zaman told Banglanews: “We are selling the dollar at 107 taka and 108 taka today. He also mentioned that he sold dollars for Tk 106 in the morning.

The stakeholders think this volatility in the market is due to the dollar crisis. However, it will take some time to stabilize.
