DHAKA:  February 1, 2 have been fixed to celebrate Jatiya Kabita Utshab on the premises of Dhaka University.

The organizers of National Poetry Council made the announcement at a news conference at TSC of DU on Friday (January 11).

Poet Asad chowdhury will inaugurate the function.

The registration for the festival, as already has begun at office of the council, can be done from 5 pm to 8 pm till January 31.

The fee has been fixed at Taka 300 for poets of Dhaka region and Taka 200 for poets district-wise.

Apart from recitation of poems, the year’s festival has two seminars and two sessions of article recitation.
