DHAKA: Some 32 senior citizen have received the certificate of Capstone Course-2014 of National Defense College. 

Finance Minister AMA Muhith, in a concluding ceremony, handed over the certificates among the citizens at Mirpur Cantonment auditorium in the city on Thursday.

The finance minister said, “The course entered into fifth years and the learning of the course will be effective in your life.”

Muhith also said, “Getting such type of training personally in my life I gained knowledge on economic issues. I am happy to have been able to complete such a course.”

Targeting certificate receivers, the minister said, “Though the course duration was only fifteen days but completing the course when you go back to your office, then you will able to deal many important issues easily.”

Earlier in the day, College Commandant Lieutenant General Mollah Fazle Akbar welcomed the finance minister at the programme. 

Members of the Parliament (MP) Omar Faruk Chowdhury, Mostafijur Rahman, Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Swapan, Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Nazmul Haque, Mamunur Rashid, among others completed the course and received the certificates.
