NOAKHALI: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said BNP is hatching a plot to foil the upcoming general election after being failed repeatedly to mobilize any movement.

He also expressed firm conviction that BNP’s conspiracy will be defeated under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina along with the countrymen.

Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, made the remarks while addressing a programme at Basurhat in Companiganj upazila of Noakhali on Tuesday (August 14).

He also advised party leaders and activists to stay put with people and warned that if anyone in AL does unjust with them will be held accountable. Awami League will severe all kinds of relationship with those who practice irregularities. 

District level AL leaders and activists were also present at the program.
