DHAKA: Ruling out the possibilities for holding any dialogue with BNP, Road Transport & Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said maintaining communication among the political parties is something good for even melting ‘hard ice’.

Obaidul Quader, also the Awami League General Secretary, was addressing the media at the conference room of his ministry, at noon.

In replying a question, he slammed BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir for ‘setting conditions’ to contact.  

Talking about the Tuesday’s city corporation polls, he criticized BNP for their inclination to playing blame game as the polls results come out.

He urged BNP to give up the tendency of boycotting polls.
