DHAKA: BNP has secured a verbal permission for holding a protest rally demanding proper treatment of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and her unconditional release from prison.

The rally will begin at 3:00pm on Friday (July 20) in front of Nayapaltan party office in the capital, BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi told Banglanews on Thursday (July 19). 

“BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir had a conversation with Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in this connection. Apart from it, verbal permission was granted from Paltan Police Station,” BNP's Dhaka Divisional Assistant organizing Secretary Abdus Salam Azad told Banglanews.
