DHAKA: A secretary-general level meeting of BNP was held in party chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan political office on Friday afternoon (May 4).

BNP Assistant Office Secretary Taiful Islamn Tipu told Banglanews that the meeting started at 4:00pm.

In the meeting, BNP senior leaders held discussion on latest political situation of the country, Gazipur and Khulna city corporation polls and the party’s next steps regarding the conviction of party chief Khaleda Zia. 

BNP standing committee members, vice chairmen, advisers to the chairperson, joint secretaries and secretaries will join the meeting, said Tipu.
