RAJSHAHI: Workers Party of Bangladesh President Rashed Khan Menon said the upcoming national parliamentary polls will be held under the current government as per the constitution.

“Election is for all. The election isn’t for BNP alone and its aim isn’t to take BNP to power. The election will be held as per the constitution and under the present government too.”

Menon, as the chief guest, was addressing a public rally in Rajshahi on Saturday afternoon (March 31).

“The non-communal forces should be united next time so that the BNP-Jamaat led fundamentalist forces can’t go to power,” he added.  

Workers Party Central Secretary General also lawmaker from Rajshahi sadar constituency Fazle Hossain Badsha, among others, spoke the rally.
