NARAYANGANJ: BNP is inefficient to wage any movement and using this as a trick of peaceful program, said Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader. 

“The people haven’t responded in wake of the punishment and imprisonment of Khaleda Zia. BNP didn’t think it. It’s their mistake. Now they are publicizing their inefficiency as a trickery to observe peaceful programs”, he said. 

Quader, also the general secretary of BNP, was talking to the reporters while inaugurating the super structure of Narayanganj Kanchpur second bridge Friday (February 16).

“Police didn’t make any obstruction while they (BNP leaders and activists) observed hunger-strike, sit-in and other protest programs after the arrest of Khaleda Zia.”

“But they (BNP) have to keep in mind that they observed programs against the court, not the government”, added Quader. 

However, the ruling party has nothing to do if BNP avoid the upcoming election, he said further.
