Sylhet-Teknaf road-march from Sep 21

SYLHET: A road-march program has been announced from Sylhet towards Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar against the Myanmar’s atrocities on Rohingya Muslims and people of other religions in Rakhine state.

‘Human for Rohingya’, a newly formed platform floated for raising voice for repressed Rohingyas, called the road-march program at a press conference at a hotel in Sylhet city on Wednesday (September 06).     

Convener of the platform Maulana Shahinur Pasha Chowdhury, a former MP of Sunamganj, announced the program.  

According to the announcement, the road-march towards Teknaf will begin from Humayun Rashid Chatwar of Sylhet on September 21 with the caravan of thousands of vehicles. It will reach Teknaf on September 22 covering Habiganj, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar.

Roadside rallies will be held in different places of the road-march route. The final rally will be held in Teknaf. 

Shahinur Pasha Chowdhury called upon all to make the program a success in stopping repression and genocide on Rohingyas.

He thanked the government for giving shelter the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.
