COMILLA: Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said the next national election will be held under authorization of the election commission.

The government of Sheikh Hasina will act as a supportive government in the election, he said.

Quader made the statements while talking to the reporters after visisting the construction site of Gomoti Bridge at Daudkandi of Comilla on Tuesday noon (June 27).

In the election, the army will observe their duty in the set way as was stated in the constitution.

Comilla constituency-2 lawmaker Amir Hossain and Daudkandi upazila parishad chairman Major (retd) Mohammad Ali Sumon were among others present there.
