DHAKA: Terming the infiltrators as garbage, Awami League president and also Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina directed not to include them in the party.

The AL chief also warned of taking stern action against those who will be involved in allowing the infiltrators in the party.

Sheikh Hasina was speaking at the two-day special extended meeting of Awami League held at PM’s official residence Ganabhaban in the city.

Several leaders of the party, who attended the meeting, said that the PM asked them not to allow the infiltrators in the party.

Members of Awami League’s advisory council, executive committee members, party MPs, and the leaders of district and city units across the country joined the meeting.

After the inaugural speech, Sheikh Hasina exchanged views with the grassroots level leaders.

The grassroots leaders spoke about party’s internal feud, distance of party men with MPs and negative statement of some top leaders about the party men.
